Originally from the Island of Mull off the west coast of Scotland: indeed the family home is still there, overlooking the fine silver sands and jade-green waters of Calgary Bay.
This island, which with its neighbour Iona is so steeped in history, has played an important part in the development of our original product, Columba Cream.
We are an independent family company, making, by hand our own-recipe malt whisky Scottish liqueurs. Our first liqueur, "Columba Cream" is based on a centuries old family recipe for brose - a traditional family drink. We started producing it commercially in 1982 and set up a company which holds as its main aim the production of unique, original Scottish liqueurs. Today our liqueurs are still made by hand, using the finest natural ingredients; from the painstakingly selected smooth Highland Malt Whisky, honey, cream and fruit to the soft Perthshire water in which we carefully blend our products; and this goes for all of our liqueurs, we do not use concentrates, flavourings or additives. Never have and never will! We make the largest range of malt whisky liqueurs of any company in Scotland. Our liqueurs have a unique Scottish identity and distinctive flavour.
